CoinLaunch (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates a cryptocurrency discovery and information platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.
If you create an account we collect your email address. We do not currently store passwords — authentication is handled via a secure session token.
If you connect a crypto wallet, we store the public wallet address for identification purposes only. We never request access to your private keys or funds.
When you vote we store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (not the raw IP), your account ID, and the date of the vote. This data is used solely for duplicate-vote detection.
We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first analytics provider that does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions, and does not collect personal data. Aggregated page-view statistics help us improve the Platform.
If you submit a project for listing, we collect the information you provide (project name, contract address, socials, description, logo).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use a single session cookie (“next-auth.session-token”) that is strictly necessary for authentication. This cookie expires when your session ends or after 30 days.
We use your browser’s localStorage to store your watchlist preferences locally. This data never leaves your device unless you create an account.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party marketing pixels.

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Vote records (IP hashes) are retained for fraud-detection purposes for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@coinlaunch.io.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; use the Platform at your own risk.
The Platform is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
